“It came back!” I stare.

Shotgun this time.

Gone.

Legs fail at first.  Then grab hold.

Tail wags.

Puppy returns again.

  2. very cool Six. In fact, cool in a relatively rare way, i.e. my enjoyment (and appreciation) grew with reading the Comments (and Replies) that followed the story.

    1. I try writing in 21 words or less on this blog. It makes for interesting word choices and implying things. I really had fun with the idea of the returnee being a dog. Thanks for the kind words.
